Project knowledge piles up in many places. I gathered mine in an Obsidian vault and connected it directly to Claude through the Model Context Protocol. How I built the vault, set up the MCP bridge and what it brings to everyday infrastructure BIM, with an honest assessment after several weeks of practice.
Autodesk has released the Fusion MCP server: it lets Claude model directly inside Autodesk Fusion. We tested the tool on a road grate and a hydrant. An honest field report with setup guide, iteration images and a clear assessment of where the value for BIM geometry lies today.
